Bundle of Joy
Well, joy may be exaggerating things a bit.
We updated our Verizon account last week to a Triple Play Bundle. We already had in the house FiOS internet, and their basic local phone line. This would bump up the phone and add in their main TV package. Setup was pretty painless, even though the installer was a bit gruff with my gear.
(Sidenote, I am typing this on a Sunday evening while Vicki and Lucas are at Nicole’s house watching the Super Bowl, of which I am not watching. Surprised? You shouldn’t be.)
I’m happy so far with the TV upgrade, and I know Lucas and Vicki are. But, I can see how this is a deadly slope to begin down. I’m already wanting to upgrade to a DVR. I already want to upgrade my internet to their 15/15 plan. And the biggest yet, we really want a new TV now. Then of course, we’ll have to upgrade to the HD packages, and then the movie packages… See? Next I’ll be ranting about how we’ll have to be eating less food because the cable bill is so high. Not so good I think.
