It’s a damn shame that it’s difficult to find plain old Legos in the stores these days.

I grew up on Legos, the old-fashioned non-themed variety. When shopping for gifts or for my son, this has bothered me a great deal. Aside from the themes, even the pieces have become so specialized that free design becomes hard.
