Amazing artwork here by Jonas Bergstrand. This piece, from what I think is a film, is just fantastic. Go on through and check the rest out. /via kevinnuut

Wrttn is a simple notepad with many useful features, the main one being that you can save as much text as you like while taking advantage of the formatting options markup languages such as Textile or Markdown give you. This means that you can use wrttn to jot down ideas, write an article, an essay, a collection of media (more on this later) or anything your heart desires: both privately (by not sharing the link), or publicly (by sharing the link).

Also uses the embed.ly api to show media. Very cool.

Foursquare vs Gowalla home screens
Big difference here. Functionality aside, Gowalla just has a much better experience on both their website and their mobile apps. And why does Foursquare show me a welcome message when I am logged in?

I fall in love with newsreaders like I fall in love with productivity systems. The love affair lasts for three weeks and then I move back to reading via Tab Groups and keeping track of my day on a piece of paper. There’s an important lesson about human nature for both application domains that is going to make someone a pile of money.

A Feedly Surprise

I’ve been using Feedly as a front-end to Google Reader for about a year now. It offers up a much nicer interface than Google, and also adds in a number of enhancements. It’s now available as an extension for Safari 5, so I don’t have to run Chrome or Firefox anymore.

I started playing around with Feedly a bit this evening and stumbled on a nice little feature. The search bar at top not only searches your current feeds, but can also go out and find the best sources of a certain topic. Below is what Feedly found for HTML5. Nice!

Actually, the choice was more that working all the time was a lot easier than dealing with people and social situations. The rules are a lot clearer with computers and with business. When it comes to people, things get complicated quickly.
I very often feel this way. I know I use my computer and my long hours at the desk to do this same thing. Felt Tip blog

Now with an HTML5 component for non-Flash devices like the iPad/iPhone. Very slick.
